If you ask 10 different people about which employer deserves the title of best, then with a high degree of probability we get 10 different answers. Someone puts salary at the forefront. Someone thinks that the employer should be kind and understanding. And someone will say that the best employer is one that provides employees with the most comfortable working conditions or does not bother with overtime.
Analysts at Superjob.ru conducted a survey of 3,000 people and found out what parameters workers consider to be the most important when applying for a job.
Among these criteria were:
- what is the salary (the most important criterion);
- what are the working conditions;
- Is there a large social package?
- Does the company provide internal corporate training;
- Does the company create new jobs;
- how developed is the infrastructure in cities in which there are branches of the company;
- how recognizable is the brand;
- Does the company care about the environment?
- spends money on charity.
Based on the results of the survey, Forbes experts compiled the first list of the best Russian employing companies in their history. And we offer you a detailed description of the top ten and a full rating of 50 companies.
10. Novatek
Russia's second largest gas company pays well for its employees. The average salary in Novatek reaches 42,642 rubles. And it is not surprising, because employees have to work in harsh weather conditions, since the main activity of the gas giant is concentrated in the Far North. And the largest Novatek project - a liquefied natural gas plant - is located in the north of Yamal.
In addition to good salaries, the company provides a generous social package, and vigilantly monitors compliance with safety measures, which led to a decrease in the injury rate by 38%, to 0.79.
9. Gazprom
We don’t know whether the dreams of Gazprom employees come true, but the fact that this company is one of the most sought-after employers in Russia is beyond doubt. But Gazprom was only 13th in terms of salary. And this despite the fact that the average salary in 2019 amounted to 110,000 rubles per month.
But do not rush to run to submit a resume, this amount is largely the merit of high salaries of top managers of Gazprom.
What Gazprom cannot be blamed for is cruelty. By such a parameter as “charity”, the company took an honorable 8th place.
8. Sberbank of Russia
For different things, you can blame the largest bank in Russia. However, he takes second place in Russia by such a criterion as “employee training”. Last year, 34 thousand senior management personnel and 213 thousand ordinary specialists underwent training.
And with the demand for this employer, too, everything is in order. There are many branches in the country, and someone should work in them. The average salary at Sberbank amounted to 42,206 rubles according to data for 2018.
7. Alrosa
Working conditions in this group of diamond mining companies cannot be called easy, because you have to work in the harsh Yakut climate of the Republic of Sakha.
However, Alrosa compensates for these difficulties with a social package and high salaries. The average salary last year amounted to 126,700 rubles.
And the diamond giant generously donates to charity and spares no money on investments in the regions.
6. VTB
Another reliable bank in Russia, one of the top ten best employers in 2019. In terms of salary, he bypasses Sberbank (5th place), with VTB's working conditions and investments in the region, everything is also in order.
This bank is one of the largest property owners and tenants in the Moscow City business district. And its headquarters is located in the western tower of the luxurious complex "Federation".
The average monthly salary at VTB is 142 thousand rubles a month (of course, taking into account the salaries of top managers).
5. Polymetal International
This company produces gold, silver and copper. And on such a parameter as working conditions, she received a silver medal from Forbes experts, being in second place.
Salaries are not offended by employees, as they are in this industry, they are very high (an average of 124 567 rubles for a site manager and 58 721 rubles for a locksmith).
Safety in the company is one of the priorities. Last year, LTIFR injury rate was reduced by 40% to 0.09.
4. Yandex
Let the company itself be only the fourth in the list of the best Russian employers of 2019 according to Forbes, but according to working conditions it is the first. At the disposal of its employees are a variety of domestic services, from dry cleaning to a shower cabin. And also an excellent compensation package: for mobile communication services, medical insurance, food, etc.
And jobs over 50% of employees are located in the metropolitan business district “Red Rose” with its unique architecture: carefully restored old manors are adjacent to the futuristic building of the business center “Demidov”.
3. Gazprombank
It is more profitable to work at Gazprombank in terms of salary than at VTB or Sberbank. After all, by this criterion he takes an honorable first place in the ranking of the best employers from Forbes.
The average monthly salary in this bank is 173 thousand rubles.
Gazprombank is doing well with job creation (10th position) and with working conditions and environmental protection.
2. Pole
The largest gold mining company in Russia belongs to one of the richest businessmen of the Russian Federation, Suleiman Kerimov. Such a high position of Polyus in this list is explained by a combination of high salaries with a rich social package.
The monthly average salary of a specialist at Polyus is 76,736 rubles, with an engineer 63,290 rubles, and with a project manager 121,161 rubles.
And for investments in the regions, Polyus is in the top ten. In 2018, the amount of investments in social and infrastructure projects in the regions where the company operates amounted to over $ 33 million.
1. Norilsk Nickel
One of the world's leading producers of nickel, palladium and copper, opened its most important production sites on the Kola and Taimyr Peninsulas.
But at the same time, his employees do not complain about poor working conditions, they like high salaries, as well as the company's attentive approach to environmental protection and its charitable activities. According to all these criteria, Norilsk Nickel is in the top ten.
